Job Summary

Senior Quantity Surveyor - Luxury Estates

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out day-to-day commercial management of the project/projects.
  • Lead project planning and scheduling of services on a project-by-project basis.
  • Work collaboratively, with an emphasis on integration and teamwork.
  • Comply with Business Processes and Procedures as defined within the Employee/Technical Handbook.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership skills to manage a team of cost management professionals, providing guidance, mentorship and training whilst fostering a collaborative working environment.
  • Delegate work to other team members whilst maintaining responsibility for these tasks.
  • Exhibit excellent communication skills to convey complex cost-related information to stakeholders, and clients in a clear and concise manner.
Requirements
  • Advanced expertise in cost control and financial management including forecasting future project costs based on historical data, market trends, and project-specific variables, enabling proactive decision-making.
  • Contribute to the development of strategic project plans, aligning cost management with overall project objectives and organisational goals.
  • Mastery of contract management and dispute resolution.
  • Implementation of advanced value management strategies to optimise project costs while enhancing overall project value and performance.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of life-cycle costing principles to evaluate the total cost of ownership over the life of a facility or asset.
