Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of Tender and Contract Documents: Prepare and review tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities, to ensure accuracy and compliance with company standards.
  • Valuations and Variations: Conduct valuations and variations analysis to ensure accurate costings and payment to subcontractors.
  • Cost Analysis and Control: Perform cost analysis for repair and maintenance project work, and implement cost control measures to ensure projects are delivered within budget.
  • Risk Management: Identify, analyze, and develop responses to commercial risks, ensuring the company's interests are protected.
  • Procurement Strategy: Advise on procurement strategy to ensure the company achieves the best value for money.
  • Commercial Risk Management: Identify, analyze, and develop responses to commercial risks, ensuring the company's interests are protected.
  • Reporting and Communication: Prepare and analyze costings for tenders, and allocate work to subcontractors. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 2-6 years of experience in a Quantity Surveyor role, with a strong understanding of construction projects and commercial management.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work accurately and efficiently under pressure. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
