Essential Pharma is seeking a Development Project Manager.

In light of our recent acquisition, you will oversee both clinical and non-clinical initiatives, ensuring the successful execution of a pivotal project aimed at providing essential therapies for patients diagnosed with high-risk neuroblastoma.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning and Oversight:

  • Craft detailed project blueprints, outlining timelines, milestones, and resource distribution.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership and stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
  • Identify potential project risks and devise effective mitigation strategies.

Team Leadership and Coordination:

  • Lead cross-functional teams comprising researchers, technicians, and administrative personnel.
  • Facilitate seamless communication among team members and stakeholders.
  • Offer guidance, support, and constructive feedback to team members.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Act as the primary liaison for project stakeholders.
  • Prepare and deliver regular project updates, reports, and presentations to stakeholders.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure alignment with project goals.

Resource Allocation:

  • Effectively allocate and manage resources to achieve project objectives.
  • Monitor project budgets and expenditures, ensuring financial integrity.
  • Procure necessary equipment, materials, and services for project execution.

Documentation and Compliance:

  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including plans, schedules, meeting notes, and progress reports.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory standards and company policies.
  • Prepare and submit necessary reports as required.

Quality Assurance:

  • Implement quality control protocols to ensure the accuracy and reliability of scientific data.
  • Conduct regular project evaluations and audits to assess progress and identify improvement areas.
  • Update and maintain internal documentation, ensuring proper procedures are followed.
  • Initiate change control requests, ensuring compliance with all standard operating procedures.

Qualifications:

A degree in a scientific discipline, complemented by a professional qualification in project management or equivalent experience with established project management methodologies.

Experience in project management within a pharmaceutical context, particularly in clinical and non-clinical workstreams, is highly desirable.

Eligibility to live and work in the UK is required.
