Essential Pharma is seeking a Clinical Development Project Leader. Following our recent expansion, your primary responsibility will be to oversee both clinical and non-clinical project streams, ensuring the successful delivery of a vital initiative aimed at providing a crucial treatment for patients diagnosed with high-risk neuroblastoma.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning and Oversight:

  • Create detailed project roadmaps, encompassing timelines, key milestones, and resource distribution.
  • Collaborate with senior management and stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
  • Identify potential project risks and formulate strategies for mitigation.

Team Leadership and Coordination:

  • Lead cross-functional teams, including researchers, technicians, and administrative personnel.
  • Ensure effective communication among team members and stakeholders.
  • Provide mentorship, support, and constructive feedback to team members.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Act as the main liaison for project stakeholders.
  • Prepare and deliver regular updates, reports, and presentations to stakeholders.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure alignment with project goals.

Resource Allocation:

  • Effectively allocate and manage resources to achieve project objectives.
  • Monitor project budgets and expenditures, ensuring financial integrity.
  • Procure necessary equipment, materials, and services for project execution.

Documentation and Compliance:

  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including plans, schedules, meeting notes, and progress reports.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory standards and company policies.
  • Prepare and submit necessary reports as required.

Quality Control:

  • Implement quality assurance measures to ensure the precision and reliability of scientific data.
  • Conduct regular project evaluations and audits to assess progress and identify areas for enhancement.
  • Update and maintain internal documentation, ensuring safe procedures are followed.
  • Initiate change control requests, ensuring compliance with all standard operating procedures.

Qualifications

A degree in a scientific discipline combined with a professional qualification in project management or equivalent experience utilizing established project management methodologies.

Experience in project management within a pharmaceutical context, particularly in clinical and non-clinical workstreams, with a preference for biologic product development experience.

Eligibility to live and work in the UK.
