Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Customer Service Consultant to join our dynamic team at Skipton Building Society. This role is essential in providing exceptional service to our members, ensuring their needs are met with professionalism and care.

Working Hours:

This is a full-time position requiring 36 flexible hours per week, covering Monday to Saturday. You will be supporting our branch operations during the following hours:

  • Monday, Wednesday & Friday: 9.00am - 4.30pm
  • Tuesday & Thursday: 9.00am - 4.30pm
  • Saturday: Working in the branch

Compensation:

The salary for this role is £22,464 per annum, with an additional area allowance of £4,200 per annum.

Your Role:

As a Customer Service Consultant, you will:

  • Engage with customers to identify their needs through effective questioning and active listening.
  • Provide information on our comprehensive range of savings products and services.
  • Assist customers in reviewing their financial circumstances and goals, offering tailored solutions.
  • Ensure accurate maintenance of customer records and support vulnerable customers appropriately.
  • Promote a customer-centric approach in all interactions, whether in-person or via phone.
