The Department of Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery at Oxford University Hospitals is celebrated for its innovative practices and dedication to excellence in trauma care. Key ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will be accountable for general reconstructive surgical services at the designated hospital. This role involves providing care to the Major Trauma Centre as part of a dedicated team of six trauma consultants.
The Department of Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery offers a comprehensive reconstructive service to the local community and surrounding areas. Our consultant-led service encompasses a variety of specialties, including trauma surgery, craniofacial surgery, cleft lip and palate repair, upper limb reconstruction, treatment for bone infections, sarcoma management, breast reconstruction, skin cancer treatment, autologous transplantation, and head and neck cancer surgery, along with hypospadias repair. We are proud to have Burn Facility status as part of the regional Burn Network. Our facilities include co-located offices, outpatient clinics, surgical theatres, and both adult and pediatric wards.
