Job Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen to apply for the post of Consultant in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery with a specialist interest in TMJ Surgery at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

Main Duties
  • Deliver general OMFS services as part of the team.
  • Provide a general and specialist TMJ service for OMFS.
  • Participate in the supervision and training of Specialist Registrars, Foundation year doctors, Dental Core trainees, and Dental SHOs.
  • Work with consultant colleagues to provide a comprehensive Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery service, achieving compliance with targets set by the Trust and nationally.
  • Participate in all clinical governance activities, including clinical audit, clinical effectiveness, risk management, quality improvement activities as required by the Trust.
