Job Description

Hotpoint, a leading household appliance brand, is offering a unique opportunity to train, qualify, and work as a Trainee Field Service Engineer with a top global domestic appliance manufacturer.

This role is ideal for individuals with an interest and experience in electronics, mechanics, or engineering, who enjoy being on the road and interacting with customers, and aspire to develop a career as a Field Engineer.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Field-based role driving a company van and attending customers' homes.
  2. Carrying out repairs, diagnosis, and testing of domestic appliances.
  3. Product promotion.
Requirements:
  1. Excellent customer service skills, energetic, driven, and attention to detail.
  2. Right to work in the UK and full manual UK driving license.
  3. Electrical background/qualifications highly desirable, some electrical knowledge essential.
What We Offer:
  1. A fully expensed training course at our Head Office in Peterborough, including overnight stays.
  2. Shadowing an experienced engineer in the field to gain hands-on experience.
  3. Phase 1 and Phase 2 training, covering classroom, workshop, and theory sessions.

  7. 20 days holiday + Bank Holidays.
  8. 12-month contract with a view to achieving a permanent role.
