Job Title: Field Service Engineer

Job Type: Permanent, full-time

Location: Stevenage

Hours: 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 p.a. depending on experience + company vehicle + fuel card + overtime + excellent company benefits

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team in Stevenage. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for servicing and installing fire suppression systems on a range of specialist heavy plant vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Servicing and installing fire suppression systems on heavy plant vehicles
  2. Working on a field basis, visiting various locations including ports, quarries, and recycling sites
  3. Providing excellent customer service and ensuring high-quality workmanship
  4. Collaborating with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives
  5. Staying up-to-date with industry developments and best practices
Requirements:
  1. Highly competent in mechanical engineering/mechanics
  2. Experience in diesel engines, manifolds, turbochargers, etc. would be beneficial
  3. Auto electrical experience would be beneficial
  4. Ability to read technical drawings
  5. Full UK Driving Licence
