About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Project Worker to join our team at Sanctuary Group, a national organisation providing housing, care, and support services to individuals across England.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality support to young people, encouraging them to maximise their potential and independence.
  • Establish professional relationships with customers, using clear communication to promote independence and develop daily living skills.
  • Assist customers in understanding and planning their support package, focusing on positive outcomes to maximise their potential.
  • Provide advocacy to support customers and their families when required.
  • Liaise with external agencies to ensure maximum support is delivered to enable customers to access and maintain a level of integration within the wider community.
  • Manage the implementation of safeguarding principles and responsibilities to ensure the safety of customers.

Requirements

  • Experience of working with vulnerable children and young adults.
  • Proven knowledge of key needs and services for relevant customer group.
  • Some knowledge of relevant legislative and regulatory requirements.
  • Good understanding of written and spoken English.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to demonstrate a positive and accepting approach to customers.
  • Ability to keep accurate records and clearly communicate relevant information.
