Join our client's team as a Reinsurance Governance Manager and be the first point of contact for your business partners related to all their operational, compliance, and financial risk topics. You will work closely with business partners across the process value chain to continuously improve their risk and compliance framework. Your role will involve collaborating with a broad network of professionals, actively exchanging knowledge, and supporting global initiatives.

Hours: Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm

As the Reinsurance Governance Manager, your main responsibilities will include:

Maintaining and improving the risk control framework of Reinsurance business
Providing Governance support to Valuation and Analysis teams globally
Partnering with business leaders to maintain a robust risk and control framework
Advising the business on any operational risk or governance matters
Leading or contributing to governance work streams of key group projects
Using data analytics and visualisations to highlight concerns and for monitoringThe Operational Resilience & Governance Team sits under Business Excellence and delivers on a wide range of business objectives. They are an integrated unit that aligns governance, regulatory compliance, risk management, and internal control efforts to create a comprehensive approach to managing operational and legal & compliance risks.

To excel in this role, we are looking for someone who is an excellent teammate with strong communication and interpersonal skills. Your ability to deliver high-quality results with a sense of ownership, and your positive attitude towards ambiguity and diverse topics, will be crucial.

Insurance/reinsurance operational experience and/or Actuarial or Risk expertise
Good understanding of actuarial methods, IFRS accounting principles, and information systems
Experience in leading projects and change initiatives
Experience in driving improved use of data to manage risks is a plus
Fluent in English; proficiency in other languages is an advantageNext steps:
