Clinical Governance Lead

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and experienced Clinical Governance Lead to join a well-established private healthcare provider in South Kent, near Cranbrook. The hospital is a modern, state-of-the-art facility, rated OUTSTANDING by the CQC, and is committed to delivering exceptional patient care. As the Clinical Governance Lead, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and developing a robust framework that ensures the highest standards of clinical quality, safety, and governance are met across the hospital.
As the Clinical Governance Lead, your key responsibilities will include:
Leading the development and implementation of a clinical governance framework to ensure quality and safety.
Overseeing the hospital's Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) program, supporting the IPC Lead Nurse.
Managing and supporting the Governance team, ensuring compliance with regulatory and best practice standards.
Leading quality improvement initiatives, responding to incidents and feedback to enhance patient care.
Developing and reviewing clinical policies, procedures, and ensuring the hospital adheres to all legal and ethical requirements.
We are seeking a Registered Nurse or Allied Health Professional with a strong background in clinical governance and compliance. A degree-level qualification in a relevant field.
Strong skills in data analysis, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
Experience in driving quality improvements and embedding lessons learned from incidents.
