Staff Nurse Position

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a registered RN adult nurse to join our dynamic team at Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust.
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled nurse to work on our INRU rehabilitation unit, caring for patients with neurological diagnoses. As a member of our multi-professional team, you will work closely with nursing, medical, Neuropsychology, and therapy teams to provide patient-centred care and support timely discharge.
Main ResponsibilitiesAs a registered nurse on our INRU team, your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing high-quality, holistic care to patients with neurological diagnoses
- Working collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary team to achieve patient-centred outcomes
- Supervising and supporting junior staff to ensure seamless care delivery
- Participating in teaching and assessing skills to enhance team performance

Person SpecificationTo be successful in this role, you will need:
- First-level registration as a Registered Nurse
- Knowledge of clinical governance and NMC registration
- Experience of working on own and as part of a team, with ability to supervise and support junior staff
- Evidence of teaching and assessing skills/ability
