Job Summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a registered RN adult nurse to join our dynamic team at Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust. We are seeking a compassionate and skilled nurse to provide high-quality holistic care to patients within our rehabilitation environment.

Main Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering person-centred care, promoting the rehabilitation agenda, and working collaboratively with the multi-professional team to provide a coordinated service. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing high-quality nursing care to patients with neurological diagnoses
  • Working closely with the medical, neuropsychology, and therapy teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Supervising and supporting junior staff to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Participating in teaching and assessing skills to enhance the knowledge and skills of the team

Person Specification

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • First-level registration as a Registered Nurse
  • Knowledge of clinical governance and NMC registration
  • Experience of working on own and as part of a team, with ability to supervise and support junior staff
  • Evidence of teaching and assessing skills/ability
