Position: Experienced Teaching Assistant


A vibrant and innovative Primary School is seeking to appoint a skilled and imaginative Experienced Teaching Assistant to provide support to learners across Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), Key Stage 1 (KS1), and Key Stage 2 (KS2).

This role offers a fantastic opportunity for individuals aspiring to pursue a career in education, allowing for hands-on experience in a classroom setting while functioning as a valued Teaching Assistant.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborating with students across EYFS, KS1, and KS2
  • Potentially assisting students with mild Special Educational Needs (SEN) such as Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), dyslexia, and speech and language challenges
  • Engaging in small group and one-on-one interactions
  • Utilizing creativity and resourcefulness to inspire students with the primary curriculum.


Role Overview:

  • Experienced Teaching Assistant
  • Engaging with students from EYFS to KS2
  • May involve supporting learners with mild SEN
  • Focus on small group and individual work
- Competitive daily rate with potential for permanent placement at the conclusion of the academic year.

Candidate Profile:

  • Prior experience in an educational setting is essential
  • Background as a Tutor or Cover Supervisor / HLTA is advantageous
  • A confident and enthusiastic demeanor
  • Creative mindset with the ability to devise engaging and enjoyable activities.
