We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced teaching assistant to provide support to students with special educational needs in a KS2-4 classroom setting.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in working with students who require extra support and will be able to work collaboratively with the class teacher to ensure the student receives the necessary support to reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities- Provide individualized support to students with special educational needs
- Work closely with the class teacher to develop and implement strategies to support student learning
- Organize and facilitate a stimulating and motivating learning environment
- Encourage social inclusion and independence among students
- Implement behavioral and emotional management strategies as needed
- Experience working with students with special educational needs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with the class teacher and other support staff
- Knowledge of the current curriculum and ability to adapt to changing needs
