Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated teaching assistant to join our team at TimePlan Education. As a teaching assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of high-quality education and care to our pupils with special educational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in planning and delivering engaging lessons tailored to the needs of SEND students.
  • Provide one-on-one support to pupils, helping them overcome learning challenges.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
  • Monitor and record pupil progress and provide feedback to teachers and parents.
  • Participate in school events, staff meetings, and professional development opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience teaching children with special educational needs, preferably of primary age and working at Early Years level.
  • Ability to adapt learning materials and strategies to meet the needs of individual pupils.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development.
