Year 2 Teaching Assistant Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to join our Year 2 classroom in a mainstream primary school in Barking and Dagenham. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students and contributing to a positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide effective support to students in the Year 2 classroom
  • Assist the teacher in planning and delivering lessons
  • Help to maintain a safe and organized learning environment
  • Support students with SEN needs

The Ideal Candidate:

We are looking for a Teaching Assistant with a minimum of 1 year's experience working in a similar role. You should have a strong understanding of child development and be able to communicate effectively with students, teachers, and parents.
