Deputy Store Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Deputy Store Manager to join our team at Dorothy House. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for supporting the Store Manager in the day-to-day operations of our store, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that customers have a positive shopping experience and are satisfied with their purchases.
- Store Operations: Assist the Store Manager in the management of store operations, including stock control, visual merchandising, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
- Team Management: Support the Store Manager in the management of the store team, including training, motivating, and evaluating team members.
- Sales and Revenue: Contribute to the achievement of sales targets and revenue growth through effective merchandising, promotions, and customer engagement.
- Inventory Management: Assist with the management of inventory, including receiving, stocking, and rotating merchandise.
- Financial Management: Assist with the management of store finances, including cash handling, banking, and reconciliations.
- Experience: Proven experience in a retail management role, with a strong background in customer service, team management, and sales growth.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Education: Good standard of maths and English, with a strong understanding of retail operations and management principles.
