About the Role

South Yorkshire Housing Association Ltd is seeking a dedicated and experienced Employment Support Team Leader to spearhead a groundbreaking pilot project. This initiative seamlessly integrates Individual Placement and Support (IPS) employment services with local homelessness teams, aiming to empower individuals experiencing homelessness to achieve sustainable employment.

Reporting directly to the Head of Work & Wellbeing, you will lead a team of Employment Specialists, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment. Your primary focus will be on driving positive outcomes for our customers by aligning their job preferences with suitable employment opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Successfully manage and deliver the pilot project, ensuring adherence to IPS Fidelity principles.
  • Provide strategic leadership and guidance to your team of Employment Specialists, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate effectively with partners, employers, and stakeholders to enhance service delivery and maximize positive outcomes for our customers.
  • Monitor and evaluate the project's performance, identifying areas for enhancement and implementing necessary adjustments.
