At Eni, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Chartering Oil and Products professional to join our ETB team in London. As a key member of our Shipping Oil & Trading Services department, you will play a crucial role in managing the spot chartering process, working closely with Trading and dealing with ad hoc requests from management.
About ETBEni is a leading integrated energy company with a strong presence in exploration, production, transport, and marketing of oil and natural gas. Our ETB division is responsible for the international trading of crude oil, petroleum products, biofuels, and related financial derivatives for the Eni group. As a Senior Chartering Oil and Products professional, you will be part of a dynamic team that sources hydrocarbons and bio feedstocks, markets Eni's oil equity productions, and provides oil risk management services.
Key Responsibilities- Supporting Chartering, Operations & Trading teams in sourcing optimal tonnages at market rates while managing relevant risks;
- Planning, developing, and managing the chartering activities of various trade routes & optimizing the earning capacity of the company's fleet;
- Obtaining optimal returns by reducing voyage expenses;
- Identifying and developing new/potential chemical & oil charterers for return cargo;
- Keeping real-time reliable fixtures documentation for transparency and compliance needs;
- Providing guidance to Clients on proposed shipping ventures, investment opportunities & market trends;
- Dealing with spot and/or time charters, crude oil, chemical tankers, and gas tankers;
- Maintaining cooperative relationships with local and overseas customers/shipowners, arranging regular meetings/visits, and developing the network further;
- Keeping up-to-date knowledge of the market and performing market intelligence research;
- Assisting Management and the team with ad hoc requests.
- Knowledge and experience of tanker chartering (liquid bulk cargo) & contract management of Crude Oil, Products, chemical, and gas tankers within Majors or Trading houses would be advantageous;
- Knowledge of Incoterms and experience of General Terms and Conditions of oil trading Majors;
- Experience in a similar role within a trading environment and/or operational experience;
- Full command of English (written and spoken) and knowledge of Italian language will be beneficial;
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Suite;
London, Permanent. Availability for business travel.
