Oil Products Trader

We are seeking an experienced Oil Products Operator to join our team at Richard James Recruitment Specialists Ltd. The successful candidate will have existing work-based commercial operations experience within the Oil Products trading sector.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Gasoline, Fuel Oil, Biofuels, and other Oil products cargo/trading operations. They will be responsible for coordinating operations from trade inception to completion, executing blend plans, and liaising with 3rd party storage terminals.

The successful candidate will be proactive, driven, and able to improve existing processes. They will also be responsible for ensuring cargo loading and discharging adhere to any credit or L/C requirements, accurately updating Trading systems, and minimizing profit leakage.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinating operations from trade inception to completion
  • Executing blend plans and liaising with 3rd party storage terminals
  • Obtaining clean acceptance of vessels in a timely manner
  • Issuing voyage orders to shipping/counterparties and monitoring progress
  • Appointing approved inspectors as required
  • Ensuring cargo loading and discharging adhere to any credit or L/C requirements
  • Accurately updating Trading systems
  • Minimizing profit leakage

Requirements:

  • Existing oil products operations experience
  • Proactive and driven individual
  • Strong understanding of Gasoline, Fuel Oil, Biofuels, and other Oil products cargo/trading operations
  • Ability to improve existing processes
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
