Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Broker to join our team, specializing in Light Ends Oil products such as Naphtha and EBOB. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for brokering contracts, providing exceptional client service, and driving revenue growth. You will work closely with our team of highly motivated professionals to expand market presence and deliver meaningful results in this competitive landscape.

Key Responsibilities
  • Promote PVM Oil Associates Ltd and its services to clients and stakeholders
  • Manage and supervise staff for all relevant product lines
  • Develop and implement business strategies to identify new business opportunities and drive growth
  • Maintain constant contact with clients and stakeholders to identify buyers and sellers, facilitate price discovery, and create liquidity for deals
  • Oversee customer relationship management, including maintaining relationships with strategically important and major clients
  • Manage clients and lines on the desk in a proactive manner, including account allocation and dealing with customer issues
  • Lead and manage people development, building a high-performing team and management capability to plan for succession
  • Understand and assess pertinent regulation, implementing compliance with the evolving regulatory landscape and internal/external governance
  • Support a risk and compliance-aware culture, encouraging behaviours that comply with group policies
  • Support Senior Management in building culture, setting the tone, and instilling values
Experience and Competences
  • Proven track record of broking Light Ends Oil products, with a deep understanding of the market
  • Exceptional client service skills, consistently delivering tailored solutions and exceeding client expectations
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure, maintaining composure in difficult situations and keeping emotions in check while delivering results
  • Skilled in constructively handling disagreements, seeking resolutions that benefit all parties involved
  • Committed to working ethically and in alignment with both professional and company values, demonstrating respect and integrity at all times
  • Strong grasp of market trends and economic conditions, with the ability to contribute informed viewpoints and ideas
  • Excellent at fostering relationships and networks both internally and externally, maximising opportunities for collaboration and business development
