Job Purpose and Background

CDP has undergone a significant digital transformation, transitioning from a paper-based, human-intensive process to a modernized, scalable product. As part of this transformation, we established new teams within the Digital directorate, including Design, Product, Infrastructure, Architecture, Engineering, and QA. We are seeking an Agile Lead to support the Digital team, ensuring the adoption of Agile practices and methodologies across our digital teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Product Owners, Design, Infrastructure, Architecture, QA, and other digital teams to shape the Agile approach and processes.
  • Embed Agile ways of working, including stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and show-and-tells.
  • Develop and recommend Agile processes for continuous improvement.
  • Support and coach team members in efficient Agile delivery.
  • Identify project blockers and help the team overcome them.
  • Owning and managing the Nexus within the Digital team.
  • Train, support, and mentor colleagues to become better Agile practitioners.
  • Ensure consistency of approach, method, and documentation.
Requirements
  • At least two years of experience leading Agile/Scrum for a team with over 20 people in a tech/product-focused environment.
  • Formal training in one or more Agile methodologies (e.g., Certified Scrum Master, Agile PM, SAFe, Certified Agile Practitioner).
  • Practical experience employing both Agile (Scrum, Kanban, and 'Scrumban').
  • A deep understanding of software development practices and technical terminology.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage stakeholders, build relationships, and influence change.
  • Competent facilitating workshops, trainings, and ceremonies.
  • Knowledge, interest, and passion for the environmental and/or sustainability space are an advantage.
