The successful applicant will provide advice and information to unpaid Carers in Wandsworth, utilizing their knowledge and experience of the issues as they relate to Carers. They will have expertise in giving information and advice, particularly welfare benefits, as well as advocating on behalf of another and providing one-to-one support. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and IT skills, a commitment to working in the voluntary sector, and experience of project development, delivering frontline services, and supervising staff. Key responsibilities include:

* Providing expert advice and guidance to Carers on welfare benefits and other related issues
* Advocating on behalf of Carers and providing one-to-one support
* Developing and delivering projects to support Carers
* Supervising staff and contributing to a positive team culture
