Regional Care Training Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Care Training Specialist to join our team on a regional basis. As a key member of our training team, you will be responsible for leading staff training across our business, supporting care homes across the UK.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and deliver high-quality training programs to staff across all our care homes, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices in health and social care.
- Collaborate with our management team to assess training needs and develop a comprehensive training calendar.
- Regularly update training materials and resources to reflect the latest industry regulations, best practices, and internal policies.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs, making improvements as necessary to ensure the highest standards of care are maintained.
- Provide ongoing support to staff, including one-on-one coaching and mentoring, to enhance their skills and confidence in delivering exceptional care.
- Work closely with new employees during their induction period, ensuring they receive the necessary training and support to succeed in their roles.
- Ensure all training records are accurately maintained and updated in line with regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular audits of training compliance across all care homes, identifying any gaps and addressing them promptly.
- You must hold a training/teaching qualification, such as a Cert-Ed, Level 3 Award in Education & Training, PTTLS, or CTTLS.
- You must have experience in the field of Health and Social Care.
- You must have experience in delivering training courses.
- A driving license and use of your own vehicle is essential.
- You must have a DBS check and relevant insurances in place.
- You must have a flexible approach to work and be able to prioritize your workload.
- You must have good communication skills and be able to interact with others at all levels.
- You must have good forward planning and a methodical approach to work.
- You must be able to innovate and think creatively.
