About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Social Worker to join our team as a Direct Payment Lead. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the Council's vision for independent living and to contribute to the development of Direct Payments in Hammersmith and Fulham.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement Direct Payment plans that meet the needs of residents
  • Work closely with colleagues across social care to build capacity and confidence in Direct Payments
  • Provide training and support to colleagues on Direct Payments
  • Contribute to the development of the Direct Payments Moving Forward Plan
Requirements
  • Professional Social Work qualification and registration with Social Work England
  • Experience of working with Direct Payments and a good understanding of the benefits and challenges they present
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
