Job Title: Practice Nurse - Band 5/6

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Practice Nurse to join our team at St Andrews Health Centre in East London. As a Practice Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality nursing care to our patients, working closely with our senior practice nurses and the practice team.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients, including assessment, health screening, health promotion, treatment, and evaluation of care.
  • Contribute to the development of health promotion campaigns and peer support groups.
  • Provide expert general practice nursing knowledge for the development of staff and the practice.
  • Engage with PCN and locality colleagues and other stakeholders for at-scale and population health-based work.
About Us:

St Andrews Health Centre is a large teaching practice with over 33,000 patients, based in East London. We are part of the Bromley by Bow Health Partnership and are rated Outstanding by CQC. Our team consists of 50 members of staff, including 7 GPs, GPNs, ANPs, HCAs, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals.

We aim to deliver high-quality primary care that integrates with the local community, while providing a supportive and enjoyable place to work.

Requirements:
  • RGN qualification and experience in general practice.
  • Trained in childhood and adult immunisation, cervical screening, basic life support, and management of anaphylaxis.
  • Nursing qualification and experience in more than one area of long-term conditions management.
  • Travel health, sexual health, ear care, and wound care experience.
