We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Practice Nurse to join our dynamic team at Chislehurst Medical Practice. As a key member of our Primary Health Care Team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the smooth operation of our practice.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients, including women's health, wound care, and chronic disease management.
- Conduct routine and child immunizations, as well as travel vaccinations.
- Request and process pathology tests, and advise patients on results.
- Participate in clinical, multi-disciplinary, and whole team meetings.
- Engage in regular staff training sessions and ad-hoc training to develop skills and knowledge.
- Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Council.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Previous Practice Nurse experience.
- Experience in chronic disease management, including diabetes, hypertension, and respiratory conditions.
- Qualified smear taker.
- Imms/Vacs trained, including childhood immunizations.
- Previous experience using EMIS and DOCMAN.
- Asthma/COPD qualification experience.
- Travel Health experience.
This is a part-time position, working 13 hours per week. The successful candidate will be expected to work across two sites, with a flexible schedule to cover sickness and holidays.
