Job Summary

Fronius is seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team. As a System Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support and service to our customers, ensuring the optimal performance of our welding equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Repair and maintenance of Fronius welding equipment, including inverters, torches, hose packs, and automated systems.
  • Provide technical support to customers, troubleshooting and resolving issues in a timely manner.
  • Conduct safety tests and weld tests after repair and servicing to ensure equipment is functioning properly.
  • Support the introduction of new products and systems into the market, providing technical expertise and guidance.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to provide pre-sales and after-sales support to customers.
  • Participate in demonstrations of welding equipment and assist with events such as trade fairs and seminars.
  • Assist with stock control and inventory management.

Requirements

  • Technical experience in electrical equipment support and maintenance.
  • Electrical engineering qualification or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Word.
  • Basic knowledge of manual electrode, TIG, and MIG/MAG welding processes.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Flexibility to work varying hours and tasks to meet customer requirements.
  • Customer-oriented attitude with a professional approach to clients.

Language

  • Fluent English (spoken and written).
  • German language skills are an advantage but not essential.
