Job Title: Speech and Language Therapist

We are seeking a dedicated Speech and Language Therapist to join our team at Clarus Education Ltd. The successful candidate will work with children with complex developmental speech and language disorders, feeding and swallowing difficulties, learning difficulties, and sensory impairments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Independently manage a caseload of children with complex developmental speech and language disorders, feeding and swallowing difficulties, learning difficulties, and sensory impairments.
  • Work collaboratively with education staff and the multi-disciplinary team to deliver a holistic service to children with sensory impairments.
  • Utilise comprehensive assessments to form diagnoses and plan interventions. Deliver SLT interventions at school, home, or clinic as needed.
  • Liaise with families to clarify roles, provide knowledge, and support parents in understanding and aiding their child's communication needs.
  • Engage in ongoing CPD, with access to a protected training budget, and contribute to training programs for families and staff.
  • Support service improvements through audit and research and help implement clinical protocols.
Requirements:
  • Must have a recognised degree in Speech and Language Therapy, HCPC registered, and member of RCSLT.
  • Minimum 3 years postgraduate experience, including work with children with a wide range of speech, language, and communication difficulties.
  • Strong team player with excellent interpersonal, organisational, and communication skills. Ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team.
