At Becton, Dickinson and Company, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced EMEA BDX Education Manager to join our team. This is a hybrid role that will be based in the UK (Winnersh) or other office locations.
About the RoleWe are looking for a talented individual to develop and implement a comprehensive digital training academy and programs to support our BDX business objectives and commercial effectiveness. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing guidance in developing and maintaining effective Training Programs and Processes by BUs, supporting the build of an EMEA digital training platform, and ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations and standards.
Main Responsibilities- Develop and implement a comprehensive digital training academy and programs to support BDX business objectives and commercial effectiveness.
- Provide guidance in developing and maintaining effective Training Programs and Processes by BUs.
- Support the build of an EMEA digital training platform, leveraging relevant training technologies and aligning with corporate/global framework decisions.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and standards, as well as internal policies and processes.
- Analyze and assess the performance strength of training practices and processes, and maintain a keen understanding of training trends, developments, and best practices.
- Act as a training subject matter expert and advisor as needed, providing proactive and reactive support in response to identified challenges.
- Support quality and compliance projects as required to ensure training standards and SOPs are followed and in place.
- Provide budget input and monitoring as needed.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Lifesciences, Marketing, Economics, or BA (potentially nursing degree) or related subject area.
- Extensive experience in Medical / Healthcare industry in either training, medical affairs, marketing, or clinical roles (e.g. nursing).
- Certification in an area such as training effectiveness, adult learning principles, or trainer qualification is preferred.
- Knowledge of regulations and compliance requirements in life sciences.
- International or European experience.
- IT competent, including CRM systems.
- Fluent in English. A further major European language would be an advantage.
- Willingness to travel minimum 20% (up to 40%).
