Job Description

As a Graduate Business Analyst at aaa | consulting, you will play a key role in supporting our Steel business unit while completing graduate training. Your main focus will be on supporting OCTG sales and operations and supply chain management for SCEU Steel business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Tender Preparation and Sales Activities: Support the preparation and execution of tenders, including sales activities for Oil and Gas customers, as well as energy transition customers such as Geothermal and Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS).
  • Project Financial Analysis and Cost Modelling: Conduct thorough financial analysis and cost modelling for projects to ensure accurate and informed decision-making.
  • Contract Management: Support contract management activities for long-term business partners, ensuring seamless execution and compliance.
  • Business Process Analysis and Mapping: Analyze and map business processes, both general and project-specific, to identify areas for improvement and optimize efficiency.
  • Documentation and Quality Management: Document procedures and work instructions in accordance with our Quality Management System, ensuring compliance and adherence to industry standards.
  • Quality and Operational Audits: Support quality and operational audits to ensure our processes and systems meet the highest standards.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor inventories and conduct periodic stock checks to ensure accurate tracking and compliance with company rules.
  • New Project Implementations: Support new project implementations as a team member, contributing to the successful launch and execution of projects.
  • Reporting and Data Analysis: Create and format reports using iTIMS and related business tools, providing valuable insights for business decision-making.
  • SAP and Salesforce Transactional Input: Enter data into SAP and Salesforce systems, ensuring accurate and timely updates.
  • JSOX Audits: Support JSOX audits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Compliance Checks: Conduct compliance checks to ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Presentation Preparation and Marketing Material Creation: Prepare presentations and create marketing materials to support business development and sales activities.
  • Month-End Procedures: Perform month-end procedures, checks, and record-keeping to ensure accurate financial reporting.

Qualifications:

  • Essential Qualifications:
    • Degree-level or equivalent qualification in business, finance, science, or a relevant technical subject.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to listen, consult, and communicate effectively.
    • Proficiency in MS Office 2022 or later, particularly Excel and Word, and ideally Access or a similar database to a basic level.
    • Critical analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
    • Strong literacy and numeracy skills.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
    • Understanding of supply chain management principles.
    • Self-motivated and results-driven, with a positive outlook and a clear focus on high-quality work.
    • Ability to relate well to people at all levels, with empathic communication skills.
    • Flexible, adaptable, and creative, with a willingness to learn and grow.
    • Able to travel internationally, with a keen interest in supporting energy transition and expanding sustainability management.
    • Experience working in an office environment and within a multicultural business environment would be beneficial.
    • Experience in using SAP and/or Salesforce is an advantage.
