Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Graduate Business Analyst to join our team in Aberdeen. As a Graduate Business Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting the Metal Products Unit's Tubular business while completing graduate training.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Support Tender Preparation and Sales Activities: Assist in preparing tenders and sales activities for our customers in the Oil and Gas and energy transition sectors, including Geothermal and CCS.
  • Conduct Project Financial Analysis and Cost Modelling: Analyze financial data and create cost models to support business decisions.
  • Support Contract Management Activities: Assist in managing contracts with long-term business partners.
  • Analyze and Map Business Processes: Identify areas for improvement and develop process maps to optimize business operations.
  • Document Procedures and Work Instructions: Create and maintain documentation for the Quality Management System.
  • Support Quality and Operational Audits: Assist in conducting audits to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Monitor Inventories and Conduct Periodic Stock Checks: Ensure accurate inventory levels and conduct regular stock checks.
  • Support New Project Implementations: Assist in implementing new projects as a team member.
  • Create and Format iTIMS and Related Business Reports: Develop and format reports to support business decisions.
  • SAP/iTIMS/Salesforce Transactional Input: Enter data into SAP, iTIMS, and Salesforce systems.
  • Support JSOX Audits: Assist in conducting audits to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Conduct Compliance Checks: Identify areas for improvement and develop process maps to optimize business operations.
  • Responsible for Presentation Preparation and Marketing Material Creation: Develop and create presentations and marketing materials to support business decisions.
  • Perform Month End Procedures, Checks, and Record Keeping: Ensure accurate and timely completion of month-end procedures.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: Degree level or equivalent qualification in business, finance, science, or relevant technical subject.
  • Skills: Proficient user of MS Office 2022 or later, particularly Excel and Word, and ideally, Access or a similar database to basic level.
  • Critical Analytical Thinking: Ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions.
  • Strong Literacy and Numeracy Skills: Excellent communication and mathematical skills.
  • Personal Qualities/Attributes: Self-driven, results-oriented, and a clear focus on high quality, relates well to people at all levels, empathic communicator, adaptable, able to travel internationally, keen to support energy transition and expand sustainability management, team-player.
  • Desired Experience: Experience within a multicultural business environment, experience in using SAP is an advantage, office experience.
