Our client, a leading consulting firm, is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Business Development Analyst to support their Steel business unit while completing graduate training.

The main focus of this role will be on supporting Supply Chain Management and Operations for the Steel business, as well as contributing to various business projects and initiatives.

  • Conduct Financial Analysis and Cost Modelling to inform business decisions
  • Support Contract Management activities for long-term business partners
  • Analyze and Map Business Processes to identify areas for improvement
  • Document Procedures and work instructions in accordance with the Quality Management System
  • Support Quality and Operational Audits to ensure compliance
  • Monitor Inventories and conduct periodic stock checks
  • Support New Project Implementations as a team member
  • Create and Format Reports using iTIMS and other business tools
  • Input Transactions into SAP, iTIMS, and Salesforce
  • Support JSOX Audits to ensure regulatory compliance
  • Conduct Compliance Checks to identify areas for improvement
  • Prepare Presentations and create marketing materials
  • Perform Month-End Procedures and record keeping

Qualifications:

Essential:

  • Degree level or equivalent qualification in Business, Finance, Science, or a relevant technical subject
  • Strong Analytical Skills and ability to think critically
  • Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel and Word, and ideally Access or a similar database
  • Strong Literacy and Numeracy Skills

Preferred:

  • Understanding of Supply Chain Management principles
  • Self-Driven and results-oriented with a positive outlook
  • Strong Communication Skills and ability to relate well to people at all levels
  • Flexible and Adaptable with a creative approach to problem-solving
  • Able to Travel Internationally
  • Keen to Support Energy Transition and expand sustainability management
  • Team-Player with a positive attitude and ability to contribute to a positive team environment
  • Experience Working in an Office Environment
  • Experience Working in a Multicultural Business Environment would be beneficial
  • Experience in Using SAP and/or Salesforce is an advantage
