About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Theatre Nurse/Anaesthetic Practitioner to join our client's Theatre department. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and supporting the delivery of surgical services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures
  • Assist anaesthetists with the administration of anaesthetics and monitoring of patients
  • Participate in the preparation and maintenance of operating theatres
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of theatre policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • NMC/HCPC registration with no restrictions or conditions
  • Theatre experience in hip arthroplasty, knee arthroplasty, and anterior cruciate ligaments
  • Surgical First Assist Qualification (SFA) is desirable but not essential
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently
  • Flexible and positive attitude
  • A warm, considerate, and empathetic character
