About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Theatre Nurse/Anaesthetic Practitioner to join our client's Theatre department. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and supporting the delivery of surgical services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures
- Assist anaesthetists with the administration of anaesthetics and monitoring of patients
- Participate in the preparation and maintenance of operating theatres
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
- Contribute to the development and implementation of theatre policies and procedures
Requirements:
- NMC/HCPC registration with no restrictions or conditions
- Theatre experience in hip arthroplasty, knee arthroplasty, and anterior cruciate ligaments
- Surgical First Assist Qualification (SFA) is desirable but not essential
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently
- Flexible and positive attitude
- A warm, considerate, and empathetic character
