About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Care and Training Practitioner to join our team at Barchester Healthcare. As a key member of our care team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional care and support to our residents, while also leading and motivating a team of carers.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead and motivate a team of carers to provide high-quality care and support to residents
  2. Take responsibility for resident medication, wound management, continence, physiological assessment, and care planning under the guidance of the on-site Registered Nurse
  3. Develop and implement care plans that meet the individual needs of residents
  4. Collaborate with the nursing team to ensure seamless care delivery
  5. Attend regular training sessions to stay up-to-date with best practices and industry developments
Requirements
  1. 2 years' experience in a care setting
  2. NVQ level 3 Health & Social Care qualification (or equivalent)
  3. GCSE maths and English grade C or above
