Head of E-commerce and Digital Strategy

Grafton Recruitment is seeking a highly experienced E-commerce Director to lead the online trading business and oversee the end-to-end sales strategy for a leading ecommerce business based in the Midlands.
The successful candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth, attracting new customers, and ensuring a seamless online shopping experience.
Key Responsibilities- Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a comprehensive e-commerce strategy to drive business growth and improve online trading performance.
- Team Management: Lead a team of professionals and collaborate with a performance marketing agency to achieve business objectives.
- Operational Oversight: Monitor and manage the day-to-day operations of the online retail business, including product merchandising, pricing strategies, and promotions.
- Digital Marketing: Drive traffic and conversions through paid search, social media advertising, and other performance marketing initiatives.
- Performance Reporting: Provide regular performance reports to senior management, highlighting key metrics and actionable recommendations.
- Supply Chain Management: Liaise with the product and supply chain teams to ensure the optimum availability of products and the management of stock levels.
- Agency Management: Establish and maintain relationships with performance marketing agencies.
- Professional Development: Act as a mentor and provide opportunities for the professional development of team members.
- Digital Marketing Support: Collaborate with the Digital Marketing Manager to plan and execute digital marketing campaigns across various channels.
- Experience: Proven experience as an E-commerce Director, Head of E-commerce, or similar role.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field.
- Skills: In-depth understanding of online trade, CRM, digital marketing, and performance marketing.
- Communication and Project Management: Excellent communication and project management skills.
- E-commerce Platforms: Understanding of e-commerce platforms.
