About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Producer to join our team at Amazon Digital Germany GmbH. As a key member of our Podcast Content team, you will be responsible for overseeing the production processes for our original productions.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Production Calendar Management: Create and implement production calendars and schedules to ensure timely delivery of podcasts.
  2. Deliverable Scheduling and Budgeting: Manage deliverable schedules and show budgets to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  3. Logistics Coordination: Coordinate production logistics with internal staff and external production companies to ensure smooth production processes.
  4. Communication and Collaboration: Act as the main point of contact between the DE Podcast Content team and other Wondery departments, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  5. Producer Support: Oversee and support producers with remote and studio recordings, providing guidance and feedback as needed.
  6. Script and Sound Design Feedback: Provide feedback on scripts and sound design for new and ongoing shows as needed.
Requirements

  2. Production Experience: Experience overseeing creative aspects of development, production, and post-production.
  3. Project Management Skills: Excellent project management skills with proven ability to pivot and creatively problem-solve.
  4. Systematic Approach: A systematic or process-driven approach to projects with a bias for action.
  5. Self-Direction and Ownership: Skilled at self-direction and strong ownership of project and process.
  6. Podcast Industry Knowledge: Deep knowledge of the Podcast industry.
  7. Leadership and Communication Skills: Effective leadership and diplomatic communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  1. Producer or Production Manager Experience: Experience as a producer, production manager, or line producer.
  2. Budgeting and Scheduling Experience: Experience with budgeting, scheduling, and cost reporting.
  3. On-Set Problem-Solving: Experience with on-set problem-solving.
  4. Multiple Production Management: Experience managing multiple productions in a content realm as a project manager, line producer, or equivalent.
  5. Language Skills: Fluent in German and English C1+.
