About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to join the News UK team as a Senior Commercial Producer. As a key member of the Broadcasting Digital team, you will be responsible for planning and delivering commercial projects for our brands, including talkSPORT, Virgin Radio UK, and Times Radio.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise closely with the commercial sales team to develop new briefs and ideas for commercial social video content.
  • Work closely with editorial teams to ensure commercial projects feel native while still meeting client KPIs.
  • Create and manage production budgets for individual projects.
  • Develop and present original concepts for commercial social video content to internal and external clients.
  • Suggest and book talent to appear in shows, liaising with agents and negotiating fees.
  • Write scripts where appropriate and prepare queue cards and autocue notes.
  • Attend shoots if on location, plan and run the itinerary of the day.
  • Brief the filming crew and ensure set-ups are as desired.
  • Oversee the final edit and take responsibility for delivery of versions and manage approvals.

About You:

We are looking for a highly proactive and driven individual with a passion for commercial content production. You will have a strong understanding of the sports news agenda and be able to immerse yourself in our brands, including talkSPORT, Virgin Radio UK, and Times Radio.
