Job Title: Senior Financial Crime Investigations Officer

Job Summary:

Crédit Agricole CIB is seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Crime Investigations Officer to join our team. As a key member of our Financial Crime department, you will be responsible for investigating and preventing financial crime, including money laundering, terrorist financing, and bribery and corruption.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Investigate and analyze complex financial transactions to identify potential financial crime
  • Develop and maintain policies and procedures to prevent financial crime
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Represent Crédit Agricole CIB in external agencies and with law enforcement
  • Prepare and submit reports to regulatory bodies
  • Conduct ad-hoc projects related to financial crime compliance

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • Investigatory experience in a law enforcement, regulatory, or corporate investigation role
  • Practical experience working in a financial institution with exposure to financial crime matters
  • Knowledge of UK regulatory regime in connection with financial crime and fraud
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills
  • Ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Money laundering or financial crime related qualification
  • Practical experience as a financial crime investigator
  • Presentational/training experience
  • Previous experience working with AML/transaction monitoring software
