About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Area Service Manager to join our team at Kemp Recruitment. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for the service operation of our depots and will report directly to the Depot Manager.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a team of field-based engineers and a small office-based team to ensure high levels of productivity, customer satisfaction, and fleet spend/parts authorizations.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve engineer productivity, asset upkeep, and customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure staff training is carried out in-line with company guidelines and employee requirements.
  • Maintain high levels of health and safety within the service department environments.
  • Carry out regular 1-2-1 and appraisals to ensure visibility of performance and employee engagement.
Requirements
  • Technical background from within Materials Handling or similar.
  • Organized and driven individual with previous management and leadership experience.
  • Ability to motivate and organize teams and individuals while promoting communication and performance.
  • Focus on customer requirements and expectations with the ability to meet or exceed these from an individual and team perspective.
  • Commercial outlook and mindset which facilitates profitable growth of the service operation and wider depot.
