Job Title: Technical Training Lead

Olg Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Technical Training Lead to join our client's team in Immingham. This is a permanent, field-based role that requires covering all of the UK.

Job Purpose:

The successful candidate will work closely with customers in our value chain to deliver high-quality technical training and support. This will involve performing various types of technical training, system build, compliance, and SMS support, as well as reporting back to customers and advising on systems and products.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Follow Health and Safety procedures to ensure the safety of yourself and others
  • Promote products and systems through social media, customer interactions, presentations, and site compliance inspections
  • Support internal stakeholders by using trade-based knowledge, including R&D, Technical project teams, Marketing, Manufacturing, and trade events
  • Inspire customers through high-quality teaching and learning, and facilitate honest, productive conversations about how to support customers
  • Deliver CPD's, training, demonstrations, and toolbox talks to various stakeholders, including Cat A customers, construction colleges, Architects, and main contractors
  • Create and control new CPD's and training courses to address skills gaps and industry understanding
  • Manage training diaries, bookings, and KPI expectations for a region
  • Support the case management process, including investigation, feedback, and claims team support
  • Support product testing at independent laboratories and provide necessary feedback
  • Regularly use and store site reports on CRM and project data capture
  • Actively drive improvements to the External Technical Team and wider Technical Team
