OLG Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Technical Training Lead to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality technical training and support to our customers across the UK.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of our customers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify training needs and develop tailored solutions.
- Conduct site compliance inspections and provide detailed reports to ensure adherence to industry standards.
- Support the Research and Development team by applying your trade expertise to inform product development and improvement.
- Deliver high-quality presentations, demonstrations, and training sessions to various stakeholders, including Cat A customers, construction colleges, and architects.
- Develop and manage training diaries, booking CPDs, and toolbox talks for a region, ensuring alignment with KPI expectations.
- Stay up-to-date with industry standards, including BS and building regulations, and report on training KPIs for relevant areas.
- Support the case management process by investigating issues, providing feedback, and collaborating with the claims team.
- Conduct product testing at independent laboratories and provide feedback to relevant departments.
- Regularly update and maintain site reports on the CRM system and project data capture.
- Drive improvements to the External Technical Team and wider Technical Team.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in the drywall or building industry is essential.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required.
- Facilitation and presentation skills are beneficial.
- IT literacy and proficiency in Microsoft platforms are necessary.
- A full UK driving license is required.
