About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled Technical Training Lead to join our team. As a Technical Training Lead, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality technical training and support to our customers in the drywall industry.
Key Responsibilities- Promote Knauf products and systems through professional and articulate presentations, social media, and customer interactions.
- Support internal stakeholders by utilizing trade-based knowledge to drive business growth.
- Provide technical support for trade events, Airless demonstrations, and Knauf training sessions.
- Inspire Knauf customers through high-quality teaching and learning, and facilitate honest conversations about how to support our customers.
- Deliver CPD's, training, demonstrations, and toolbox talks to various stakeholders, including Cat A customers, construction colleges, architects, and main contractors.
- Create and control new CPD's and training courses to address skills gaps and industry understanding.
- Manage training diaries, bookings, and CPD's for the region in line with KPI expectations.
- Stay current with industry standards, including BS and building regulations.
- Support the case management process through investigation, feedback, and claims team support.
- Support product testing at independent laboratories and provide necessary feedback to relevant departments.
- Regularly use and store site reports on the CRM system and project data capture.
- Drive improvements to the External Technical Team and wider Technical Team.
- Previous experience within the drywall or building industry.
- Trained to Petals, AET, or equivalent.
- Full UK driver's license.
- IT literate and able to use digital social media, Microsoft platforms.
- Efficient diary management.
