Olg Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Technical Training Lead to join our client's team in Immingham. This is a permanent, field-based role that requires covering all of the UK.
Job Purpose:The successful candidate will work closely with customers in our value chain to deliver high-quality technical training and support. This includes performing various types of technical training, system build, compliance, and SMS support, as well as reporting back to customers and advising on systems and products.
Main Responsibilities:- Ensure the safety of yourself and others by following Health and Safety procedures.
- Promote products and systems through professional and articulate communication, including social media, customer interactions, and presentations.
- Support internal stakeholders, including R&D, Technical project teams, Marketing, and Manufacturing, using trade-based knowledge.
- Inspire customers through high-quality teaching and learning, and facilitate honest and productive conversations about how to support customers.
- Deliver CPD's, training, demonstrations, and toolbox talks to various stakeholders, including Cat A customers, construction colleges, architects, and main contractors.
- Create and control new CPD's and training courses to address skills gaps and industry understanding.
- Manage training diaries, bookings, and CPD's for a region, in line with KPI expectations.
- Support the case management process through investigation, feedback, and claims team support.
- Support product testing at independent laboratories and provide necessary feedback.
- Regularly use and store site reports on CRM and project data capture.
- Actively drive improvements to the External Technical Team and wider Technical Team.
- A trades background is essential.
