Job Title: Technical Training Lead

Knauf UK & Ireland is a leading manufacturer of lightweight building materials for the construction industry. As a Technical Training Lead, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality training and support to customers in the drywall industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deliver technical training programs for customers, including product demonstrations, system builds, and compliance inspections.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders, including R&D, Technical Project Teams, Marketing, and Manufacturing, to provide technical expertise and support.
  • Provide training and support for trade events, airless demonstrations, and Knauf training sessions.
  • Deliver CPD's, training, and demonstrations to various stakeholders, including Cat A customers, construction colleges, architects, and main contractors.
  • Create and control new CPD's and training courses to address skills gaps and industry understanding.
  • Manage training diaries, bookings, and CPD's for the region, ensuring alignment with KPI expectations.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry standards, including BS and building regulations.
  • Support the case management process, including investigation, feedback, and claims team support.
  • Collaborate with the product testing team at independent laboratories and provide feedback to relevant departments.
  • Regularly use and update the CRM system with site reports and project data capture.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in the drywall or building industry.
  • Trained to PTLLS, AET, or equivalent.
  • Full UK driver's license.
  • IT literacy and proficiency in digital social media and Microsoft platforms.
  • Efficient diary management.
