As a key member of our Group Finance Team, the Financial Strategy Partner will play a crucial role in delivering financial insights and reporting to the Group Chief Revenue Officer, with a specific emphasis on our Content Creation Division.
This role involves ensuring that monthly financial reports for all sales regions are prepared and disseminated promptly, alongside providing support for various projects as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurate and timely delivery of monthly sales and gross margin analyses, supplying essential management information to the Chief Revenue Officer and regional leaders in APAC and EMEA.
- Conduct insightful trend analyses to evaluate performance.
- Assist in the preparation and development of quarterly sales forecasts by brand and region.
- Identify significant financial risks and opportunities.
- Manage relationships with senior commercial stakeholders effectively.
- Develop comprehensive monthly, and potentially more frequent, sales and margin reports on a global scale for the Content Creation division.
- Generate focused reports to assist the sales VPs of EMEA and APAC.
- Coordinate with the US Finance team to ensure uniform reporting for the US Sales VP.
- Provide insights and analyses regarding variances in sales and margin reports.
- Report on and analyze the cost budgets for global and regional sales and marketing teams.
- Oversee the maintenance of On Target Earnings (OTE) records for all sales and marketing personnel.
- Ensure that multi-currency, multi-region, and multi-brand price lists are current.
- Develop and maintain Power BI reports.
- Support the annual sales budgeting process by collaborating with marketing, product specialists, sales, and technical support to assess changes in demand relative to seasonality and historical performance.
- Manage quarterly sales forecasts.
- Coordinate the forecasting of sales and marketing expenses across the Content Creation division.
Business Partnering:
Provide financial support to the Group Chief Revenue Officer and the Sales VPs in EMEA and APAC. This may involve analyzing promotional activities and assisting in the development of bonus schemes.
Project Support:
Offer financial and project support for channel strategies, including exploring options to refine channel approaches in targeted markets. Assist in the development of eCommerce reporting and P&L reporting, and conduct what-if analyses for evaluating business development plans. Aid in the creation of business cases for new initiatives.
Qualifications:
Experience at a senior finance level, reporting directly to a Financial Controller or equivalent. Proven experience in a similarly sized organization with comparable product and revenue lines, preferably within the manufacturing sector. Strong background in revenue and gross margin analysis, project management, particularly in budgeting and forecasting processes. Familiarity with ERP systems, such as Oracle Netsuite or Board reporting, is advantageous but not mandatory.
