We are seeking an experienced Employment Solicitor to join our team in Bury St Edmunds. As a leading law firm, we offer a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package, including 25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays, hybrid working, and a personal pension scheme.

The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background, with a minimum 2:1 degree classification, and experience in handling a mixed caseload of contentious and non-contentious employment work. They will also have strong client relationship management skills and be able to manage their own caseload and assist others in the Employment team.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting senior associates and partners on cases, while managing own matters under supervision
  • Delivering high-quality, commercial advice to businesses and individuals
  • Handling a mixed caseload of contentious and non-contentious employment work
  • Reviewing and drafting employment contracts, service agreements, settlement agreements, and policies and procedures
  • Assisting on Employment Tribunal cases, including drafting ET1s, ET3s, List of Issues, and correspondence with the Tribunal
