Streamline Search is partnering with a leading mortgage brokerage firm to find a skilled Mortgage Administrator to join their dynamic team.
Job Summary
The Mortgage Administrator will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth processing of mortgage applications and supporting the wider team. This includes managing the end-to-end administrative aspects of mortgage applications, from initial submission to final approval, working closely with both clients and banks to ensure timely and accurate processing.
Key Responsibilities
- Mortgage Application Processing: Handle the entire administrative process of mortgage applications, including preparing, submitting, and tracking applications with various banks and lenders.
- Client Communication: Act as a point of contact for clients, providing updates on their application status and answering any queries they may have.
- Documentation Management: Collect, review, and organize all required documentation from clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance with lender requirements.
- Liaison with Lenders: Communicate effectively with bank representatives, underwriters, and mortgage advisors to facilitate the smooth progression of applications.
- Problem Resolution: Address and resolve any issues or discrepancies that arise during the mortgage application process.
- Database Maintenance: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all client interactions and application statuses in our CRM system.
- Compliance: Ensure all activities comply with industry regulations and company policies.
Requirements
- Experience: Proven experience in mortgage administration, specifically in submitting mortgage applications with banks.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of mortgage products, bank application procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Skills: Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and lenders.
